Singer/songwriter and keynote speaker Barbara McAfee will share her musical message, "Spirit in the Workplace," on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the conference center of Minnesota State Community & Technical College-Detroit Lakes.

McAfee will share her wisdom from years of witnessing and supporting organizations, communities and individuals in their quest for meaning at work.

Through a unique blend of song, story and audience interaction, Barbara illuminates the possibilities for making workplace equally friendly to practical goals and individual purpose.

Barbara is a talented singer/songwriter and keynote speaker who uses music and words to inspire and connect people. Her musical keynotes have brought heart and sass to events at Best Buy Women's Leadership forum, YMCA national training, and numerous wellness events around the US.

She has also lent her music to keynote presentations by national authors Margaret Wheatley and Peter Block.

McAfee also has a lively voice coaching practice in the Twin Cities, where she supports all kinds of people in finding more power and pleasure in expression. Before devoting herself to music full time, McAfee was an organizational change facilitator for 12 years with a special emphasis on improving communities for children and families.
